1. The hotel is in an area of small streets leading to the beach, some of the homes have furniture dumped in the gardens and it's generally a run down scruffy area with no fine dining.

5. If we stayed here again, we would stay in La Jolla and certainly not Pacific Beach, the other reviews have said this is a dump, but I didn`t quite believe it until I saw it.
