1. It wasn't all bad.

The new room had a tub and did not smell so bad (at first- the smell came back the next day which made me think perhaps it was a serious hygeine problem on the part of housekeeping staff?) but microwave was broken and iron was missing and the TV only got about half the channels it was supposed to.

3. I think in it's day this would have been a fantastic hotel to stay at, however I think the furnishings throughout the hotel and the building itself is badly in need of a bit of restoration.
