A marginally functional TV, a bathroom from the 1950s, no chair other than the desk chair, poor lighting,
noise
from the street, and poor cell phone reception Nice assortment of amenities in the bathroom -- a nice touch.

The air conditioning/heat units are the old style units that make a lot of
noise
and don't work all that well.

Being in a downtown location you will have to understand that there will be trucks and traffic, I just turned the heater on and it drowned out the
noise
from the vehicles(no different than having a room in NYC).

from people on the street below and banging around from rooms above and next door.

If you are lucky enough to stay there at a time of year when you don`t need to control the temperature in the room, then the
noise
from the hallways will almost equal the annoyance of the blower.

The controls for the heat would not go on fan only which would have drowned out the
noise
, but the heat came on enough to drown it out frequently.

As stated in previous reviews, the road
noise
was disappointing, with the two old windows, but I did not notice it until about 8 am, when most people are already up.
