1. My colleague arrived before me and actually had to transfer rooms because the first one was directly in earshot of the Max (Portland's public transport) and was so noisy the room practically shook.

2. Everything else was miserable, from both parking lots being full and having to feed a meter on the street or pay for another garage, the Max streetcar roared past all night (the wall of my room facing the street was one huge sliding glass door & window) - SO NOISY I COULDN'T SLEEP.

3. Internet rooms are only on one side and are pretty noisy because MAX goes along on that street (this hotel accesses the wireless internet for Red Lion Inn which is on the other side of the street that MAX runs on).
