1. Even in the lobby, where there is a very loud waterfall, one can still hear the planes flying at all hours of the day until late at night, and starting up again about 6:00 in the morning.

4. We asked to be moved but because we had booked through a Travel online package, the manager (who clearly knows not to bother courting repeat business) condescendingly explained - loudly, in the lobby - that we couldn't be moved to another room because we were getting such a 'great rate.

5. There is a large, loud artificial waterfall on the ground floor that stays on all night, so bizarrely, the bed furthest away from the runway is the noisiest one in the room.
