1. The carpet in the room and lobby was old and outdated and furniture and decor of the rooms was that of a motel 6.

2. This is an odd hotel, with very outdated looking parts (like the exterior, interior common areas, some of the furniture and air conditioning unit in the room) coexisting with recently renovated, modern looking parts (like the bathroom, bed, and the thermostat).
