Notwithstanding the fact that I made it explicitly clear that my brother was coming in late, had paid in advance (in-person), provided my cel, home, and email because I did not want ANY

Apparently, 5 (five) other guests suffered the same fate--and according to the clerk who I talked to later that night--none of the guests received any warning (phone calls, emails) about some 'furniture
problem
s' the hotel was suffering making several rooms unavailable.

Shabby, sad furnishings, old and mismatched linens, stained bedspreads, non-functioning air conditioning units, and thin walls were only some of our observations/

When we checked out in the am the front desk apologized again and said the manager of the restaurant did speak to the people and turned the music down (which was not the

) but she did not offer to take any $ off the price of our room.

The
problem
was that (1) the windows were so old that you could hear anyone on the street talking or hear a car starting; (2) every time the window even rustled, the windows shook, so it was incredibly loud in the room; and (3) it was boiling hot in the room and there was no real way to cool it down.
