1. Areas of wallpaper in the bathroom were peeling; an art deco lamp in the bedroom barely held-together when touched; a bureau drawer was unusable because it had broken off it's runners.

2. The hotel still looks like a bank with no nice lobby area and in general it looks pretty dumpy (wall paper peeling off the wall, etc).

3. However, the room had a few minor drawbacks/mantainence problems: the fan in the bathroom did not work, one small spot of wallpaper was peeling, and the bed linen had those little balls on them that happens when you wash it in the wahing machine.
