1. Lastly, either there were guests who disregarded the smoking rules, or the ventilation system had issues, but several times the smell of stale smoke was in the room.

3. The only actual issue I had was being woken one morning by the housekeeping staff cleaning the room next door while playing the radio and shouting across the hall.

4. As other reviewers have pointed out, it is about a fifteen minute walk to the French Quarter, but I live in Europe and am used to walking so this wasn't an issue for me at all.

5. Upon arriving, there was one person working check-in/service desk and I witnessed him being rude, curt/short, and dismissive with three different guests--1 wanted to know whereabouts of 'the cookies', another asked about food that was supposed to be out, a third had room-key issues.

7. When I called the hotel thisafternoon, I was told I could leave a message for the mananger, I was told his name as Manny that was at 1:40pm (CT), I left a detailed message with our confirmation number, our phone number the issue I was calling about and yes I am still waiting for a call back.

8. We only had an issue with one Valet Staff that was very rude, he told us to go park our own car and that they would find it later and re park it.
