1. Being able to walk to bars and restaurants on Broadway saved a lot of money and hassle as there were crowds nearly every night at Bridgestone Arena for major events.

2. Compared to other downtown-feeling hotels, the Hampton Inn made everything very 'easy' (for example, the parking wasn't a big valet-curbside hassle, as it can be sometimes with other 'downtown' hotels).
