1. Above average, and above the line of duties, the staff at this hotel goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, in particular Juan at the front desk , who help me at 3 am to get myself settle after a hard evening and a canceled flight at the Miami International.

2. PROXIMITY THE PROBLEM The problem was having coming from another country, I was 2 feet from the airport and getting anywhere else - mainly for a shop or 2 - was limited - hard or expensive.

3. It is a really dated Sheraton, and I found that this hotel and other hotels in Florida are dated, and so many stucko walls, it is hard to update.

4. Bar food was average at best my club sandwich tasted a little of stale oil and had obviously been grilled on the hot plate my wife's chicken tenders might have forced a visit to the dentist they were to hard although she did say the french onion soup was very tasty.

5. This hotel has the best staff ever, an excellent GM working hard to improve the hotel everyday; a great sales person that is more than a marketing is a friend, thank you Jose.

8. There was one exception - full marks to Miguel in the bar; he was friendly, worked hard, listened and made a great effort to find the wine that I wanted.
