2. The rooms smell as if they have been smoking-rooms before and only recently been converted to non-smoking (the odor seems to stick to the thick, old, golden carpet).

3. Cons:Twice there was the smell of cigarette smoke from an adjacent room through the bathroom vent, even though we specifically had a room on a non-smoking floor.
