1. Checked in here late at night, small problem that I had booked wrong date, however hotel honoured booking and did not charge extra.

2. Only had two problems during our stay, both of which were handled by staff very, very quickly.

The only problem with the hotel is no fault of their own, Hollywood/LA County needs to get a handle on the homeless street people it is a very uncomfortable walk to and from Hollywood blvd the first couple of nights but you get used to it they don't bother you, but when you aren't used to it it can be intimidating.

4. There's also a Budget rent-a-car office just across from the station, the rates there were excellent and a one-way rental to the airport wasn't a problem and didn't come with a surcharge.

5. Heavy blinds helped, and it wasn't really a problem and you shouldn't really expect quiet in Hollywood.

6. We didn't have a problem with breakfast seating either because we always arrived around 7:30am, but things do start do get busy by around 8:30am.

7. Only problem that I found was that Highland Ave is busy and left turns in and out of the hotel can be an adventure and due to the street lay out, it is not practical to drive around the block.

8. From locating restraunts via the internet and booking taxis, to trying to help us sort out problems with other bookings and our hire car the reception staff could not have done more.

This was only a problem for us because we were not getting up until a little later due to having trouble with getting used to a different time zone, most people would be up and about but with us coming from Australia and staying in Vegas (and being up all night and sleeping during the day) before coming to LA it was difficult for us.

10. Had a small problem with the check out , in that we were almost charged twice for car parking ( an extra $88) but this was quickly taken off the bill when noticed.
