1. I used to stay next door which has now become a different hotel: watching the current one being built was interesting since it was difficult to imagine how they could have stuck a fully functioning hotel on the side of a mountain, but they have.

4. This was only a problem for us because we were not getting up until a little later due to having trouble with getting used to a different time zone, most people would be up and about but with us coming from Australia and staying in Vegas (and being up all night and sleeping during the day) before coming to LA it was difficult for us.

5. It is virtually impossible to turn into the hotel by turning left across traffic, because there rarely are openings in the traffic (seriously, I was there four days and saw the traffic at many different times of the day; it was crazy how difficult it was to get into the hotel from the south).
"Great place . . . if you don't need a car to get around " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/27/2009 Vote
6. Parking in the hotel garage is $22 per day, and traffic in this area is particularly heavy and it is located near a busy intersection, making it exceptionally difficult to get back to the hotel by car.
