1. We used Marriott points and were clearly given the worst location (right next to very busy Rte 1) and smallest suite (only room for lamp on one side of bed so one of us couldn't read) - but the soundproofing when the sliders were closed was great.

3. However, it seems the hotel has very different kind of rooms and we must have got one of the worst, just a small bedroom with the bathroom, not a kitchen, or living room or even a mini bar in the bedroom.
