5. Poorly fitting door to corridor allows in even more noise, if the room next to yours go in and out a lot it sounds like they are opening you door - very noisy.

6. noise insulation of poorly fitting sliding glass doors non existant - even with fan running can easily hear traffic on bridge over the river - and thats just cars, Throw in a truck or motor bike and sleep becomes an issue.
