1. It was still a bit noisy, but we didn't really notice - although we do use earplugs ;-) Bathroom was a bit small, but nothing to write home about good or bad.

4. The rooms are missing things like a microwave, mini fridge, and they are so noisy they have to offer ear plugs because of the horribly noisy trains that blow through all night long (about ever 20 minutes).

5. Lastly, perhaps ominously, the free ear plugs beside the beds suggest that the nearby train tracks are active at night (but I live in a noisy city such that I had little trouble when those nearby trains rumbled by during the night.

6. One reminder, do remember this is also a convention center, and if there is an evening function it may get noisy outside, so you might want to seek a room on a higher floor.

7. As others have noted, there is a noisy train that passes through Eugene, but my room included a note about the conductor blowing the horn and earplugs for my use.
