The downsides are the workout room- old cardio equipment, no weights, noise from traffic and people on the streets is annoying (we were on 9th floor and it definitely kept me awake), there's no swimming pool if you are interested in that; we didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, Fishbones, but some friends that did said it was the worst meal they had experienced in awhile.
