1. Sure, they are all friendly, and yes, they do pour some not so spectacular wine every afternoon in the lobby, BUT housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired, the valet service is always friendly but often really bad, problems brought to the attention of management are not taken care of.

2. Nice area with cabanas and comfortable chairs but the hot tub is very small for a hotel of this size - similar to a home unit - sits about 5 people comfortably - the biggest problem is the the hours it;s available.

3. ) The problems were minor and if you go knowing it is an old property managed with a four-star/elegant hotel attitude, you probably will get what you expect.

5. We like to alll stay together (so we can talk all night) sometimes it is a problem to find a room large enough without booking a suite.

8. That probably affects my review, but it was definitely worth the price and we did not experience any problems with things like a/c, shower water temperature, etc.

9. Over our times staying at the Hotel Palomar, there have been problems, but the staff has always been willing to bend over backwards to try to fix them.

10. After multiple phone calls over multiple days, I can say it is a real problem and each time I try to rebook they say they will call back but never do.
