I am confident that
bug
was NEVER tested so I can't help but feel that my concerns weren't taken seriously despite the room being inspected as the GM stated.

Upon closer examination, it was definitely a
bug
and based upon all of my research and confirmation with another business associate who works for a hotel chain, is definitely a bed
bug
.

The Director of Services came to my room and removed the
bug
from the pillow in a piece of paper stating that it would be tested.
