I managed to book a
wrong
date online (arrived one day in advance) so the management were nice enough to update the reservation and give us a room upon arrival.

When passing back through the reception area an employee of the hotel started shouting across the room that 'there was nothing
wrong
with the room (whatever number it was) that I had asked to be moved from.

Had read the mixed reviews of the Midtown and wondered what we`d encounter - but absolutely nothing significantly
wrong
with this hotel.

Don`t get me
wrong
, this hotel is not Holiday Inn standard, but for a budget hotel within 5 mins walk of the Prudential Centre and with a T-stop and Duck Tour stop virtually outside the door, it is a really good value-for-money Boston property.

What`s to complain about? If you want luxury, pay luxury prices, but if you want a good-value city hotel in an unrivalled position, you can`t go
wrong
with the Midtown.
