3. Similar to another review here, I did at times find it difficult to get a good night's sleep as my room faced on to Beacon Street and you could still hear a lot of noise from the street late at night and from early morning.

4. Maybe old thick walls and ceilings? No street noise either (our room faced an office block on the 6 th floor, so maybe that was never going to be an issue).

7. Is it possible that she is unaware of the garbage truck that arrives at 6 every morning and spends 30 minutes loading all the garbage from the hotel restaurant?? Trust me, we would have welcomed a bit of traffic noise by comparison.
