1. We have learned the hard way that you have to be careful booking hotels in Baltimore as some areas are more family friendly than others.

5. Take a harbourfront walk (via the footbridges over the slips) to Phillips Seafood and the former power plant which contains the hard Rock Cafe, Barnes and Noble, and other restaurants.

7. The area is great for a family trip as the Aquarium, Baltimore World Trade Center, hard Rock Cafe, many shops & restaurants, & the free city bus stops are very close by.

9. My only complaint was the room temperature - I think the large windows absorb a lot of heat, making it hard to cool the room.
