7. We were in Vegas to watch our daughter and her friends run the rock n Roll Marathon the full 26 miles and the National Rodeo Finals was also being held, yes running shoes meet cowboy boots wear ever you went.

9. It was a pretty busy weekend in Vegas w/the Rodeo Finals and rock and Roll Marathon so it seemed like the casino was really busy for a Sunday.

10. Some evenings when we weren't up on the strip shopping or attending a show, we enjoyed live music outside the casinos in Freemont; listening to Carl Ferris performing on his saxaphone while at the other end of the street a group played rock n' roll classics.
