1. The hot water in the shower barely worked, and I could tell that I was competing for it and the water pressure with another room around me.

2. In checking the latter, we found that the shower curtain rail was barely hanging on one side of the wall (looked like someone tried to do chin-ups maybe, and it pulled away a bit), and that the floor in the main room definitely sloped a bit.

The security personnel knocked on ONE door and tried to speak with a girl about the age of 14 who barely understood English (this family were Asian tourists), and she indicated that the adults had left her 'in charge' of the pack of children (at least 10 kids in the 6 rooms) for the rest of the evening.
