1. Room upstairs sounded like a gymnasium all night long that my sons had to leave their room (the one with the bunkbeds) and come and sleep in our beds because it was so loud.

4. The net result is that any noise from above sounds like a heard of elephants while you can quite literally hear every sound from the neighboring room (in our case it was so loud as to waken both children during the night).
