We recently visited Disneyland in March 2012, and while I would have loved to stay at the Grand Californian, the extra $500 was
hard
to justify, so I thought I would take a chance on the Paradise Pier hotel instead.

It has the most quiet rooms (
hard
ly ever hearing anyone in the hallway and never hearing neighbors) and it is usually the cheapest of the 3 as well.
