1. Downtown Disney is not much better, and also very expensive.

7. After alternating between some of the less expensive hotels, and the Disneyland Resort hotels, we opted to give a some of the intermediate priced hotels a try(we are Annual Passholders so we come to DL quite often).

9. One caveat I need to disclaim, I typically stay at much more expensive and upscale hotels and during our hiatus, we stayed at Marriott, Sheraton and hyatt properties when in Anaheim.
