1. 'Uhhh, what? 'No, I'm sorry, we ran out' or 'No, we're only allowed to give one per guest' would've gotten a smile, cheerful shrug and 'Thanks anyway' from me, but the dismissive gaze made me feel so dirty.

4. The downside is that the carpet throughout is horribly dirty, the room decor is dark and dingy, the pillows were as flat as pancakes and the beds weren't the most comfortable.

7. As we were coming and going for our room during the day at numerous hours , we noticed a lot of people would order room service and put the dirty dishes in the hallway, it was noticed that some of these dishes sat in the hallway for the whole day.

10. After hearing my fellow conference attendees complain about how outdated and dirty the Marriott was and about the annoying construction at the Hilton I am very glad I stayed at the Doubletree.
