6. avoid Peter D`s on the hotel premises, expensive and you don`t get a lot for it, The Star of India buffet around the corner on Polk and Joes Crab Shack on Fishermans Wharf gave good food at decent prices as did the numerous small Chinese Restaurants around the city.

7. Overall when you compare the less than $90/rate against the $200/night rate, it`s a very good deal if you want the convenience of staying in the city and avoid driving.
