1. A few problems/ no aircon, only windows and they turned heater up really high over night which meant we left windows open all night.

The hotel is perfectly located for sightseeing, Union Square with all its shops is just round the corner, the metro, BART and buses are at the botton of the street and these will get you to any tourist attraction in the cityBreakfast is very basic but there are so many places to eat just outside the hotel this is not a problem.

8. We are 60+ and rode BART with our luggage from the Airport to Powell and Market and hoofed to the hotel without problem or heart attack.

9. The problem is that if the room faces Powell St then the noise will definately disturb your sleep - not just from the cable cars but traffic noise, loud voices, garbage trucks and fighting on the street.
