2. The full size refrigerator/freezer and microwave are a definite plus since I usually try to avoid eating in restaurants in order to save on food expenses.

3. While some reviewers worried about their small children and the windows that opened - I guess I view that as more of a parenting issue - or something to avoid if you are worried about it (read hotel reviews ahead of time).

4. Tips:If you want to avoid the steep climb, do not have a car, just arrive from the airport and do not have that many luggage (maybe just a daypack or weekend pack), stop @ Embarcadero station then transfer to California line cable car.
