For a short 2 day stay, you shouldn't have a 3 very basic things go

The location is OK - it's close to Union Square but it's on the border of the Tenderloin, so be careful not to go the

There are at least three Marriotts close by and its all too easy for a taxi driver to take you to the

one when you first arrive - as happened to us.

If you don't know SF, the area is a little gritty at night should you walk in the
wrong
direction but you are a block from Union Square and all the shopping and restaurants.
