2. Most of the rooms are at the back of the hotel with a view over the backs of other buildings, but we didn't mind, because we realised that if we'd had a view over Union Square it would have been too noisy.

3. Our room was 507 which is nice because although the view of a back building was not great it was away from the noisy Union square and therefore lovely and quiet at night.

5. One note, if you're a light sleeper I would recommend staying in the back rooms, as the hotel faces Post Street and it can get quite noisy, specially on the w/e.
