Most of the rooms are at the back of the hotel with a view over the backs of other buildings, but we didn't mind, because we realised that if we'd had a view over Union Square it would have been too
noisy
.

Our room was 507 which is nice because although the view of a back building was not great it was away from the
noisy
Union square and therefore lovely and quiet at night.

They are (mostly) awesome, I had quite a
noisy
room when I arrived and I asked to be moved and it was fulfilled straight away.

One note, if you're a light sleeper I would recommend staying in the back rooms, as the hotel faces Post Street and it can get quite
noisy
, specially on the w/e.

Despite being in the middle of it all -- and it *is* really in the middle of it all, it`s a great location -- the hotel was never
noisy
, always quiet, always private.
