Nice staff (1 front desk person), and the rooms are good considering the old age of the building, but the lift is tiny and doesnt take swipe cards properly; foyer is tiny; the corridors and dingy and narrow; breakfast room is tiny and depressing; usual hotel facilities such as power adaptors for overseas appliances not available (we were told, 'you can buy one at Walmarts').
