2. Although they were the standard Courtyard bedding (disclosure: I think the Courtyard bedding is an awful bedding package, baseline), it was threadbare and in serious need of replacement.

3. The horrible sleep experience we had was driven by two problems: (1) the MOST uncomfortable, cheap mattress I've encountered at a hotel in a LONG time (and I stay in hotels 200+ nights a year), and (2) cheap, threadbare linens.
