1. Beds are OK, nothing special, which, unfortunately, is the norm in lots of, but not all, hotels.

2. The room was spacious and attractively decorated, but no microwave or refrigerator (apparently you can request a refrigerator and they'll bring one to you) unfortunately the heat did not work properly in either of our two rooms, even after the engineer 'fixed' it.

7. unfortunately, I had already booked another non-refundable room somewhere else, so this came a little too late, but we would have gone for it if we hadn't already made other arrangements.

8. the hotel overlooks Petco Park (unfortunately the Padres were not playing), it was w/in walking distance of the Gaslamp District and near the 5th Ave.
