1. We brought our 12-month-old baby with us, and they worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted.

2. I have to give a shout out to the bartender there - the bar was not yet open because it was their 'continental'-style breakfast going on, but we had all partied so hard after the wedding the night before I NEEDED a bloody mary - he opened the bar for me and made all of us the best bloody mary's.

5. I must say that the hotel really tried hard to address our concerns by sending two maintenance guys to open the damper (a device that controls air flow into the room), and sent us a fan, which gave us a little relief.

8. There was a lovely container of ice water with strawberries and cucumbers in the lobby, but there was hardly any water left and with all the people waiting, it ran out.
