1. Care should be taken, as always, about walking toward the Rampart Street side of the French Quarter, but at no time did I feel unsafe.

2. We felt safe walking around there at night too, we had two children with us not once did we feel unsafe, there are security and police around at all times, if you want a nice hotel close to everything in the french quarter at a great price we suggest this one.
