5. Our room overlooked the Hana Highway, which was a little noisy in the evening and in the morning with truck traffic, but the hotel provides ear plugs in case you need them.

When we booked, we were concerned that: (1) it would be noisy in Paia town -- it wasn't); (2) the PI would feel cramped -- it didn't; (3) the beach would be insufficient -- it was great; (4) it wouldn't be sunny in Paia -- just a brief shower every day, which we found refreshing; and (5) the PI might be too "hip" for a family of five -- it is hip, but in a delightful, un-selfconscous way (they have a ping pong table tucked away in a corner) that we enjoyed.

8. Only drawback was that it was slightly noisy as you can hear foot and road traffic from our room - first morning there and I was awake at 7am.
