3. There are swimmiming pools on the site but it is a short walk to a very nice, public beach that has a rock barrier to make it calmer and great for snorkling.

8. We took our 2 year old son and we were right on the beach, by the state park and they have a made a wader pool for kids by blocking the waves off with big rocks.

10. The hotel is convenient to the beach at Lydgate park which is very nice for small children and beginning snorkelers (two rock enclosed areas with tropical fish).
