So, here it is:
expensive
, outdated, clean, moderate friendliness, great landscaping, close to shopping and transportation, fair food in lower cost areas.

You do feel a little nickle and dimed as they charge for wireless (which isn't the greatest as it ebbs and flows significantly) and the food was
expensive
for what you got (we quickly learned there were much better choices within an easy walk--Boudins--or trolley ride--gaslamp district with a myriad of eateries.

The on-site restaurants are not bad and it is not an
expensive
cab ride to go to Old Town for great Mexican food.

I would like to see the room prices a little lower, they seemed
expensive
compared to others near it.

We at The Terrace every morning and found it to be very
expensive
with the quality being near or less than Denny's.

We ate as a group one evening at Trellises and found the service to be very slow and the food quality to be five out of ten, despite a very
expensive
menu.

In general, we consider this hotel a very good option in San Diego, even with the high price (which is a little
expensive
- we paid US$ 1,000.

The restaurants on the property are extremely
expensive
, which is to be expected, but the food is nothing special.

); they didn't clean the bathroom before our arrival; the main bar we were supposed to use (Trellis') was closed most evenings, and when open was seriously understaffed, and with horrible food and
expensive
drinks; Charley's was the same liquor at half the price, so that's where we went.
