1. Why? The hotel is some 8 miles from the (unexciting) downtown but located a 2-minute walk from the Biltmore Plaza outdoor mall with upmarket shops and expensive restaurants.

2. I'm taking one star off because when you pay this much for a hotel, and one that has no problem giving more expensive perks (drinks, breakfast, etc) paying $15 a day to access wireless Internet is silly.

3. I also ate at the Paradise Bakery (the least expensive of the three restaurants) The apple- roast chicken salad was wonderful, their sandwiches comes with a cookie.

4. I honestly felt like there was a hidden expense and overly priced services at every turn, from the $4 bottle of water in the room, to the $15 WIFI connection and $16 pay per view movies.

6. I enjoyed the stay most definitely, the front desk staff was always friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and spacious, the layout of the hotel is what you would expect in a more expensive five star facility, we will be returning to Embassy Suites as the place of choice to stay.
