1. In the past 20 years we stayed all over the island in either expensive hotels or uber expensive houses (with bedrooms we didn't need) and love the option of cooking for ourselves, so we leaned toward the expensive houses until we found HRC.

5. The unit was really nice, the little kitchen had everything we needed for our stay (dont buy your groceries in Hanalei, it's too expensive, shop in Lihue' instead) It's really nice having two bathrooms in the unit as well.
