1. We were a little disappointed in the size of our lanai (standing room only) - we thought we were getting a balcony that we could actually go out on.

4. The pool was a disappointment for my daughter as it was really cold (the sun is blocked for part of the day by the tall buildings around it) but the beach is so close that this was not an issue.

9. I have stayed at the Aqua Palms at least 4 times in the past 3 years while traveling with my husband on business and have never been disappointed.

10. as others have pointed out, this might be a disappointment but all beaches in hawaii are public beaches by law so feel free to head over to waikiki beach or the beach fronting the hilton (technically part of waikiki beach, i think) or, as i said earlier, go to magic island/ala moana beach park.
