1. There were elevator issues, but it's an old hotel, so that's expected.

2. Overall extremely good value for the money and I saw no evidence of some of the issues identified by other less than favorable reviews on TA.

3. I can also say that except for Friday night we had no noticeable issues with noise considering the hotel is in the heart of the action .

4. I must say the Manager was very helpful and I am sending her a note to thank her but also to advise on the other couple of issues that we had.

5. The only other issue that we had was on several occasions we had no hot water which I took up with them and they said it was the thermostat and it has now been fixed.

6. Other issues we had during our stay was that one morning we could not sleep and we went out onto the balcony about five oclock in the morning to have a cup of coffee only when we closed the door it locked some how and we could not get back into our room.

7. Other postings have commented on the shady crowd at night - we never had an issue on the streets and felt safe walking to restaurants close by - but the streets are PACKED with people late at night.

8. They even had ear plugs supplied in case you found it noisy due to the central location, and though I didn't need them, I thought it was fantastic they addressed the issue before it became an issue.
