5. anyways if you have stayed in hawaii before you should know the hotels are dated and you will get those floral old quilts that i wouldnt want to sleep with.

From the moment that the Tsunami alert was put in place the staff went about posting up to date information in all the elevators, as more up to date information came to hand the management team utilized the inhouse PA system and made announcements about how best to prepare for a potential natural disaster.

The location is very good, the hotel is a good price and thus the lobby is dated and hotel doesn't offer roomservice or many amenities, but the room itself while quite dated (not like their photos here, maybe they're in a renovation by phases) had a great of the mountains and two exposures with doors, which was really nice.

We have been here 3 times already (September 2007, Honeymoon December 2008, April 2010 (had to pick option Sept 2010 as date didn't go back that far)) and after a long time looking at other hotels in the area (I felt like we should try somewhere different) we have come to the conclusion that the 'Wave' is a great hotel for the price and we will be booking to come back in September.
