1. It's presumably a business decision on the part of the hotel to allow loud events and deal with complaints from guests after the fact, so those who like quiet hotels should definitely beware.

3. I stayed at a different hotel before where there was an open atrium area and it was LOUD - everything echoed up through the atrium into the rooms - but in this hotel, it wasn't a problem.
