I don't know if they were not ready for the warm spell we experienced (March 2012) but the temperature in my room never got below 75F and the A/C (which was very
noisy
) couldn't keep up.

The night sleep was interrupted many times by
noisy
guests in the hallway and slamming doors (way past 2 am) and banging walls.

Thankfully, they were not
noisy
and did not keep their TV on late, otherwise I'm sure it would have kept me up.

We were facing Rhode Island Ave, so it was a little
noisy
, but once we fell asleep in the soft beds, nothing woke us up.

It is nice that windows can open ( unlike the Marriott) to get a break from the very
noisy

I had a room facing the inside of the hotel, which was fine with me, because the street can get a bit
noisy

Try to avoid rooms near elevators as they have the ice machine as well and it can get
noisy
between people wanting to get ice and those going to the elevators.
