1. We tried breakfast there twice and the service was slow and inaccurate so we ate in a neighbourhood diner after that.

2. Breakfast service was slow but then this is not a business hotel so why not slow down and enjoy one's self, with a little prompting things picked up, there is also a disparity in the staff, some were terrific, others not so professional, just like in some of my favorite old fashioned clubs.

3. after reading all the reviews on trip advisor I wondered what I was getting myself into, but indeed it was exactly what I thought : a hotel that is more like a quirky old club where sometimes there is a great disparity between rooms and the service is a little slow.
